How to get new business in 3 steps
Learn how to get new business in 3 actionable steps.
Are you tired of seeing the same images again and again? Do you feel like your business is moving forward at a snail's pace because you are not modern anymore? As the internet continues to dominate the selling world, it is even more important now to be ready with fresh content to showcase to your new clients.
As a business strategist and consultant, I continually have conversations with clients about how they can continue selling the same product that they have been selling for years, but with a fresh, modern take on it for 2022.
Step 1 - Discover who your ideal client is
Once you have narrowed this down you can begin to figure out what they like and want in their life.
We all want to make everything we have to buy a seamless and easy process. From the first click to the parcel arriving at the door. If you can understand how your ideal client likes to shop you can adapt your business plan to market to your clientele.
Step 2 - What Questions Will They Want to be Answered?
We know all the answers but it is easy to forget that our ideal client doesn't know the answers. So make it easy for them to learn the answer efficiently. One way to do this is to ask others, "if you had to learn about commercial photography in Gloucestershire, what questions would you ask?" By giving someone else the chance to fill you in on all the questions they have about your product you will quickly collate a selection of ideas you can answer for your ideal client. You will be shocked at what you THINK people know vs what they don't know. It gives you a chance to upsell your product to your ideal audience.
Step 3 - Put It Into ACTION
the hardest part is the doing. We are so good at procrastinating and saying, "well tomorrow I will write a blog about Gloucestershire commercial photography" and then next thing you know that blog is sitting at the bottom of the pile and going nowhere. So, sit down, grab your list and start with the first question that interests you. Write 5 sentences about how to answer the question.
For Example:
Question - Where can I find a reliable Commercial photographer in Gloucestershire?
5 Sentences could be:
- To find a good Gloucestershire commercial photographer that can suit your business needs you can start by using Google.
- Another great area to search for a commercial photographer in your area is by looking with hashtags on Instagram.
- I am a Gloucestershire photographer specialising in commercial photography. I serve local businesses, helping them to redesign their business models to bring their brand into the modern age with fresh new content.
- Asking other local businesses who they use for their branding content can help you build a relationship with a trusted commercial photographer
- By using a commercial photographer in your own county you can easily access them for updates on your products as they change.
Once you have an idea, it is amazing how quickly you can build up content on your website or social media account. Sometimes it is as small as viewing it from someone else's POV that can really get your creative juices flowing.
SO! Are you ready to ask the questions?
If you are and you want someone to give you a set of questions about your business, send me an email and I ask you about the questions I have about your business.
Sometimes two heads are better than one. Sometimes it just takes a little lift to get the creativity going.
What are you waiting for?
